JAKARTA - Starting the journey in the Indonesian music scene from 2020 through the single Tear Gas, an electronic pop band from Solo, WYAT, finally released the first album, We've Just Arrived.

The title We've Just Arrived was chosen to describe WYAT's already running career of approximately four years and only spawned its first home in its fourth year.

Previously, WYAT had released three singles that became a bridge to We've Just Arrived, namely Live By (2022), Heartbeat (2023), and Blank (2023).

In this album, Abdul (vocals), Danis (bass), and Adil (synthesizers) present 10 tracks where seven of them have been brought live. In the theme, there are many things about life that are summarized in it.

"Yes, there are many things, ranging from romance, mental health, breakup, fatigue after work, and there are still many things about life on this album," said Danis in his statement.

There is one track that makes WYAT itself amazed as if they don't believe they managed to make it. The song is entitled Collide.

In terms of lyrics, this song tells the story of someone who has just ended a long-standing relationship, with the reason that one of them gives up because he is tired. This song is very related among young people who also often experience the same story.

"Hopefully through this album, we can bring WYAT even further and hopefully we can make friends sing along with our songs and can represent feelings, represent the mood of all friends," explained Abdul.

The album We've Just Arrived can be heard on all digital music platforms since March 28.
