JAKARTA - In an interview session on the Musikeli YouTube channel some time ago, The Kuda told about the unique process of the birth of the Mystery Torpedo (2011) EP (mini album) from pre-production to post-production.

"Yes, because at that time in 2010, when we didn't have money, we made a budget to record mediocre, so we're looking for a recording studio that can live records in Bogor. Get Studio 77," said Idam, guitarist of The Horse.

"Responding to the studio people. We just want to book an hour or not. The problem is the studio if one shift is only 7-8 hours, right. And fortunately it can," he continued.

After that, Idam added, the recording process took a very short time of approximately fifteen minutes.

"In the end, we take it. It's done. It's only been 15 minutes. Yes, we'll repeat the rest again. We got 10 songs. It's really short," he explained.

It didn't stop there, all the mixing results of the songs at the EP were also done with only headsets and computers on the internet.

"Then, the mixing process is also funny. Because we don't have good speakers. So, basically we mix on the internet, we only use headsets and it dies next door. And finally, it's just the best", he added.

In addition, Adipati conveyed, the distribution of the release was only distributed through friends on their respective personnel' social media.

"The process of spreading is also funny. So one of our friends on social media we tell them to listen to our songs. Some don't know, we just send the link. A few days later, we get SMS to many who ask for physical releases to be sent. We are, right," said Adipati.

"In the end, yes, we bought an empty CD, then we gave it a price of 15 thousand. The set of songs was put on the CD. Then we sent it," he concluded.
