JAKARTA - Thomas Bangalter from Daft Punk released a new single for Le Minotaure ahead of the release of his first orchestra album Mythologies.
The album was originally made for ballet music and was performed in July 2022 at Grand Thértre de Bordeaux in Bordeaux.
Mythologists were co-produced by Opéra National de Bordeaux and Ballet Preljocal. 90 minutes long, the album aims to address the "mitos that shape collective imagination".
Set to arrive on April 7, Bangalter's album does not use electronic music.
On the other hand, according to a press release, this focuses on "large-scale traditional spirit forces and, thus, covers the history of orchestral ballet music".
Le Minutaare, which sounded unpleasant, was the 13th move of the work and followed the release of L'AccEZement earlier this month.
