JAKARTA - In an interview with host Ozzy's Boneard of SiriusXM, Mark Strigl, Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford was asked about Andy Sneap's opportunity for involvement in their next tour.

Andy was chosen by Judas Priest five years ago to replace Glenn Tipton, who suffers from Parkinson's disease.

"I think that's the idea, yes. Glenn went on stage when he was able. Glenn was still with us. Glenn was still a very important integral part of Judas Priest and all the decisions and steps we took," Rob said, quoted Tuesday, February 28.

"This stupid maskson is terrible, the way it interferes with your life and removes some things that make you private," he continued.

"Thank God we got all the amazing things Glenn has done. Listen to his lead break in Painkiller, listen to the beautiful solos in Beyond The Realms Of Death and more. Glenn's footprint is not erased in Judas Priest's music as the main guitar player and guitar guitar player.

"So, yes, we agree that because the fans love and support Glenn' idea, that is, 'I want to put Andy in that place, on the stage where I have stood for decades, and Andy will do the work he needs to do for me,' it's really a form of Glenn's love for this band in wanting this band to continue.

"So, yes, we agreed that Andy will stay with us when we get out again, and that's good, guys," added Halford.

"He's been doing great work with us since he got into the start where we're at Priest now, and it worked - it worked. The fans liked him. He did great work on stage. He's committed. He likes this band... He does a very important job."
