JAKARTA - Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor has finished recording his second solo album at The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Taylor began recording the follow-up to the CMFT's stduio album in January 2020 with producer Jay Ruston, who previously worked with Steel Panther and Anthrax.
Corey's bassist, Eliot Laogo announced the completion of the recording session on the evening of February 23 by sharing several photos from the studio on his Instagram.
"After recording the new album @coreytaylor in Vegas @thehideoutlv. Really an amazing 6 weeks with everyone involved! Can't wait for everyone to hear about it," wrote Eliot in the caption that accompanies the photo.
In February 2022, Corey released a cover album and solo acoustic footage, titled CMFB... Sides, through Roadrunner Records.
The album consists of nine previously unreleased B-sides, covers of songs that inspire Taylor, acoustics, and live versions.
CMFT itself was recorded at The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas with Ruston and Christian Martucci (guitar), Zach Throne (guitar), Jason Christopher (bass), and Dustin Schoenhofer (drums).
