JAKARTA - Ahead of the presence of Babymetal's conceptual album, The Other One, on March 24, the Japanese pop-metal group released its fourth single, Light AndVINCE.
This single follows previously released songs, namely Monochrome, Divine Attack - Shingeki, and Metal Kingdom.
Along with the single, a video appears showing live footage of their latest comeback appearance entitled "Babymetal Returns - The Other One" on January 28-29 at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba, Japan.
This is their first appearance in nearly two years.
The Other One itself is a concept album and each song represents a "unique theme based on 10 separate parallel worlds that they have [babymetal] found".
This is also the first album that Babymetal has released since a year's hiatus in October 2021 after 10 years of being active as a band.
