One Label With Yura Yunita, Misellia Dismissing Album Sudiri

JAKARTA - Soloist pop and singer-songwriter Misellia launched their debut album titled Independent.

The pop album, which consists of 10 songs, was released under the banner of Merakit, which also houses leading musicians such as Donne Maula and Yura Yunita.

Through 10 songs that composed the album Independent, Misellia poured out and made the excitement that often colored the contents of the head of an introvert who was growing up.

"I consider myself an introvert. And, often, the path of the mind of an introvert is difficult for the world to understand around him," said Misellia, who received an AMI Awards nomination for the category of the best newcomer artist in 2021.

"What I put forward through this album is completely what is raging in my head, and I hope the listener can try to understand how I see my side," he continued in an official statement received by VOI.

The album Consisting is also a forum for Misellia to combine her pop identity with other subgenre explorations.

However, from all the songs in this album, the track title Consisting became Misellia's mainstay single. Wrapped with dramatic but uplifting production, this 18-year-old woman outlines all the anxiety, overthinking character, and personal imagination that often guides her in navigating world uncertainty.
