JAKARTA - Junji officially released their debut single titled Strangers In Disguise (SID) on various digital streaming platforms on February 10 yesterday.

The band, which is fronted by Arka (vocal & guitar) Andra (guitar), and Dante (synthesizer) has officially stepped foot in the country's music industry after their return from Japan and completed their educational obligations as students.

Junji means clean hopes that the works they produce are purely due to love for music.

Packed in an alternative pop genre, Strangers In Disguise tells the story of a man who is tired of a relationship whose pattern is just like that.

"Like a small problem that is always exaggerated, fighting for the same reason repeatedly which makes him sick to the point of ending his relationship with his lover. He then chooses to be a foreigner in his ex-lover's life for the good of the two," the band said in a statement.

Containing the message that relationships do not always have to be maintained, there are times when separations actually pave the way for finding true happiness.

Strangers In Disguise is one of several songs included in the EP which is planned to be released sometime under the auspices of the RPM label.
