Appearing Below The Sun's Terik, AFTERNOON Cools The Audience Of The Music Market

JAKARTA - Despite appearing in the hot sun, the Jakarta indie pop unit, AFTERNOON, appeared with a series of songs that cooled the audience at the first day of the 2023 Music Market Festival at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Friday.

AFTERNOON, the band that plays at Hajatan Stage is scheduled to play at 14.30 WIB. No doubt, the band that is manned by Ade Paloh (vocals), Awan Garnida (bass), and Bemby Gusti (drums) interacted a lot with the audience by commenting on how'send' the weather at that time.

"It's really hot, isn't it. Soon I think I can become reverberated fried, here. After playing, I think my skin is black, isn't it?" joked the bass player IN THE AFTERNOON, Awan Garnida, quoted by Antara.

AFTERNOON, they opened their prime appearance through their single "Then There's a Cheap Story AT first glance" which is taken from their latest album, "Quao Vadis, AFTERNOON?". After that, a series of numbers IN THE AFTERNOON cooled the atmosphere such as "Rosa", "Marith Berebu", and "Vrijeman".

"This time we are trying to perform a song that is actually rarely performed. There is a role of legendary musicians in this song, who else if not Fariz RM," said Awan before AFTERNOON, playing "Javaquity" which was rearranged by the band for the album "Fariz RM & Dian PP in Collaboration With" which was released in 2014.
