JAKARTA - The Music Market Festival - which will be held at Gambir Expo, Kemayoran, North Jakarta - stated that it will prioritize the safety of visitors, by targeting audience capacity of 70 percent of the total capacity estimated at 40 thousand people.

"From our own ticket bookings, so far we have almost met the target. But we still follow the protocol recommendation of 70 percent of the total capacity," said the CEO of the Nugraha Artha Music Market Festival, quoted from Antara, Friday.

Nugraha also hopes that the event which will take place from February 10 to February 12 can run smoothly with the support of the audience.

"Because to make an event a success, not only from the organizers but also from the audience," he added.

For location selection, Nugraha explained that his party deliberately chose a large capacity place for the convenience of visitors. However, the Music Market Festival does not want to maximize its capacity to avoid visitors jostling.

"We are also thinking about starting from what kind of plotting stage, what kind of incoming flow. We have thought well so that there will not be crowds again, there will be no buildup in one place," explained Nugraha.

The Public Relations Festival of the Hana Adikara Music Market said that the music event would only accommodate as many as 90 thousand spectators in three days. This means that the Music Market Festival will only target a total of 30 thousand spectators in one day.

Later, the Music Market Festival will present a total of 117 performers in 3 days. As many as 17 to 30 artists will appear and spread across 6 major stages and two small stages that have been provided.

"We hope that the audience can enjoy the Music Market Festival safely and comfortably, and have a memorable experience while attending the Music Market Festival," said Nugraha.

Seeing the music festival which will be held this year, Nugraha is optimistic that in the future there will be safe and quality music events to entertain the public, especially because of the presence of the Indonesian Music Promotor Association (APMI).

"With APMI, the Indonesian Music Promotor Association, I think, has begun to deplete many good promoters and in the end, the hope is that the more advanced, the better the Indonesian promoter will be so that it can present quality events," he concluded.
