Rossa Expresses The Story Behind The Song "I'm Go"

JAKARTA - Singer Rossa revealed the story behind Budi Doremi's song "Aku Go" which was asked to be the soundtrack for the drama Former But Married.

Rossa said, starting from the process of writing song lyrics to entering the recording kitchen and finishing the arrangement, I hope it only takes two weeks.

"The process of making the song is fast. Starting from the making of the song by Budi Doremi until the recording is finished, only two weeks is the time. I was chased by the deadline by Viu because the drama was about to air," said Rossa, quoted from Antara, Thursday, February 2.

Although the process of making it was short, Rossa said he was satisfied with the song because it was in accordance with the drama Former But Married, which according to him is very close to events that can be experienced in real life.

The lyrics of the song Kuju Aku Pergi itself describe the love that is still left for ex-lover, so there is a desire to repeat the good times that have been passed.

"The storyline of the former but married story is very related to our lives. Because there must be many formers out there who want to get married back," said Rossa.

Rossa also shared that singing drama soundtrack songs is very different by singing his own songs. Because, he must first understand the storyline of the drama that will be represented.

"It's definitely different to bring your own song by bringing a song for the drama soundtrack. Because the soundtrack must be matched with the synopsis of the story. So I have to first read the synopsis of the drama Former Tapi Menikahs so I can explore the feeling of the song," he said.

Former But Married is a drama adapted from Wattpad's story of the same name that has been read 10 million times. Because of his fame, this story was finally made a novel and has now been made a drama by Viu.
