JAKARTA - Tohpati Ario has started recording sessions of the orchestra department for the new album of the legendary Indonesian rock band, God Bless. The recording was done in Prague, Czech Republic.

God Bless will be 50 years old in March. The band, which is fronted by Achmad Albar (vocals), Ian Antono (guitar), Donny Fattah (bass), Abadi Soesman (keyboards) and Fajar Satritama (drums), has prepared a number of agendas to welcome their golden age.

After releasing a new single, Semesta, in NFT format some time ago, God Bless is preparing the launch of a biography, documentary to a 50-year grand concert.

Achmad Albar et al will also release a new album containing old songs that are reinterpreted with orchestral clothes recorded with Czech Symphony Orchestra.

All compositions contained in this album are specially arranged by God Bless with Tohpati Ario.

In an Instagram post on social media, God Bless announced the start of orchestration recording sessions for their albums.

In sharing uploads on Instagram Story, Tohpati also continues to provide updates regarding the recording session. "Done," wrote Tohpati in one of the captions in his upload.

God Bless was formed in Jakarta in 1973. For almost half a century in a career, this legendary band has released seven studio albums, including God Bless (1975), Cermin (1980), Black Semut (1988), Giant (1989), Apa Kabar (1997), 36th (2009), and Cermin 7 (2017).

This does not include a number of single songs, such as Starting Today which was released last year and the Universe which was present in December.
