Celebrate Quarter Century Of Work, Padi Reborn Prepares Silver Age Solo Concert

JAKARTA - Padi music group - which now uses the 'Reborn' appendage - will hold a solo concert celebrating a quarter of a century of work in the Indonesian music industry.

Promoted by Boart Indonesia, the concert titled “25 Years of Padi Reborn Silver Concert” will be held at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta on August 20. Apart from celebrating 25 years of work, this concert is also a space for Padi Reborn and Sobat Padi - as Padi Reborn fans are called - to let go of each other after more than two years of being hit by the pandemic.

It is certain that a series of hits from Padi Reborn for more than two decades of music will be presented. Various numbers from the debut album Lain Dunia (1999) to the last album Sixth Indera (2019) will be delivered full of harmony and fresh arrangements.

The strains of these songs will also be enriched by a touch of the orchestra, some of which will be led by Denny Chasmala cs. Supported by lighting and visuals that amplify dozens of Padi Reborn hits, the atmosphere of the concert will certainly be felt and immerse the audience in singing along.

“Besides songs that are popular and become hits, we will also perform some songs that we have never performed at previous concerts. We hope this can be a surprise for all Padi friends at the Silver Concert later," explained Padi Reborn's vocalist, Fadly in his official statement.

Meanwhile, guitarist Piyu admits that their 25-year musical career together is an invaluable achievement for Padi Reborn. They are grateful that they can continue to show their existence and be productive in producing works and survive to this day, even though many new bands and musicians have emerged.

“As musicians, we are grateful to this day that we can continue to work, make music, and be part of the creative industry. The Silver Padi Reborn concert will be an expression of our gratitude and appreciation to Buddy Padi and all those who continue to support us in our work," said Piyu.
