JAKARTA - The legendary US motorcycle company Harley-Davidson is starting to disseminate its products to the Indian market. They offer a wide selection of models for Indian motorcycle enthusiasts, such as offering an adventure motor, Pan America.

This adventurous motorcycle model is one of the things fans have been waiting for in India.

Reporting from Rideapart, Jum'at, April 7, Pan America is a motorbike that can go on two terrains, namely on-road and off-road. Not only that, this adventurous motor has some interesting technology and features.

Some of the features and technology embedded are that motorists can choose driving modes, ABS, tracking control, and height systems for regulated motorists.

Pan America is also equipped with a TFT screen that can help motorists find out about navigation, music, and telephone connectivity, as well as driving statistics while on the way.

Harley-Davidson also puts the engine side forward on Pan America. They provide a 1,250 cc V-twin engine with DOHC liquid cooling which can generate 150 dk of power and 127 Nm of torque.

The machine is coupled to a six-speed system and sends it to rear-wheel drive with a coupling for more efficient gear displacement. Plus, transmission has a quick-shifter system to raise and lower teeth without coupling.

This model is available in two choice of wheels, namely alloy wheels and markered wheels. For the choice of speeched wheels, the price is more expensive, but it can go to a more difficult field.

For the Indian market, Pan America 1250 Special costs 29,927 US dollars (around Rp445.7 million) for the alloy wheels variant and 31,162 US dollars (around Rp464.1 million) for the speech wheels.

The price set is much higher when compared to the US market which starts at a price of 17,319 US dollars (around Rp257.9 million).
