Mercedes-Maybach GLS Will Get Refreshment, What Are The Changes?

JAKARTA - Some time ago, Mercedes-Benz was caught on camera testing the facelift version of the GLS to launch with changes in various elements.

Now its super luxury division, Mercedes-Maybach is also testing the full-size SUV which is expected to have a number of refreshers and appear striking compared to the previous one.

Carscoops reported on Wednesday, December 11, that the GLS is covered with a camouflage sticker on the front as well as hinting at changes in the lighting and graphics of the star piled up on the outside.

In addition, the back is also put on a cover sticker which is expected to change with a lamp that has stellar motifs as well as symbolizes luxury.

Unfortunately, information about changes to the Mercedes-Maybach GLS is still very limited. However, there is a possibility that its front facilities have been modified to accommodate larger headlights with revised grippers and bumpers.

Although the camera catch only focuses on the exterior, this car has the potential to have a new wide screen display that extends to the entire dashboard.

The car is designed to prioritize luxury elements by presenting a four or five-seat interior as well as a wooden-layered partition separating the cabin from the baggage compartment.

Just like the previous model, it is hoped that this super luxury version of GLS will get some equipment that can pamper its users, such as back-scattering tables, back refrigerators, and silver-coated champagne.

At the bottom of the engine hood, the latest Mercedes-Maybach GLS is estimated to have a 4.0 liter V8 engine combining millid-hybrids with combined power reaching 550 dk and a 729 Nm peak torque. Thus, this can make him run from 0 to 96 km/h in 4.8 seconds.

It is hoped that this latest model will have the same price as before worth US$178,450 or equivalent to Rp2.836 billion in the outside market.

In Indonesia, PT Inchcape Indomobil Distribution Indonesia sells Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC at a starting price of IDR 7.3 billion.

For the Indonesian market, the SUV is offered in two-tone color consisting of Obsidian Black/Rubellite Red, Obsidian Black/Manufacturing Kalahari Gold Metallic, Emerald Green/Mojave Silver, High Tech Silver/Manufactur Diamond White Bright, and High Tech Silver/Seleite Gray.
