MPV M6 Becomes A Attention Center, Recording 1,400 SPKs During GJAW 2024

JAKARTA - BYD, a car brand from China, made an extraordinary achievement at the 2024 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) event, by recording more than 1,000 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK).

In detail, the brand from China, which just entered Indonesia earlier this year, managed to record 1,400 SPKs, from the ranks of electric cars that have been marketed, including Dolphin, Atto 3, Seal and MPV M6 electric sedans.

One model that attracted attention to this event, namely the M6 electric MPV, a vehicle that was designed especially to answer the needs of the Indonesian people, by offering comfort to competitive prices.

In fact, the model was tried directly by the Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita and the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto.

President Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia Eagle Zhao, expressed his gratitude for the positive response from visitors at the exhibition which took place for 10 days.

"This achievement shows that consumers in Indonesia increasingly believe in the innovations and technology that we present," he said, in an official statement received on Saturday, December 7.

Interestingly, during the exhibition the BYD booth was visited by more than 13,000 visitors, and the BYD electric car which was tested directly was 1,272 units. BYD M6 is again the vehicle most in demand to be tested directly.

"High enthusiasm for BYD M6, motivates us to continue to give our best. Our commitment is to present mobility solutions that also contribute to sustainable industrial development," he added.

BYD also closed November 2024 with extraordinary achievements, recording wholesales sales of more than 2,800 units. This figure is part of the total BYD sales which have exceeded 13,000 units in the five months since July 2024.
