JAKARTA - The automotive industry continues to experience an interesting evolution, especially in terms of vehicle modifications that present an extraordinary driving experience. Lexus, as one of the leading luxury car manufacturers, does not want to be left behind in the 2023 SEMA Show modification exhibition.

At this modification exhibition that lasted until November 8 in Las Vegas, USA, Lexus showcased a modified Lexus GX 550 with a touch of captivating design combinations and reliable functionality in various situations.

In an official statement, the company called the latest GX 550 2024 was modified with additional Lexus AAP (Associated Accessory Products) accessories products featuring the exterior color alloy Earth and Black which was first introduced by Lexus.

GX 550 Overtrail+ AAP is equipped with Toyo Open Country A/T tires measuring 33 inches and 18 inches of rim, as well as a striking black feder, standard aluminum skid plate, and cabin carpet resistant to all weather.

Modifications on this vehicle began with the installation of Lexus rock rails in collaboration with built-in skid plates to protect trucks from damage. The built-in air compressor makes air pressure adjustment easier, while Prinsu Roof Rack adds greater payload space.

Not only that, this special modification is equipped with a number of very important Pelican storage boxes and rotoPax jerry cans. Lexus also ensures that this vehicle can get through a tough situation with the recovery board of the powerful ARB Tred Pro and DMOS Delta shovel.

Meanwhile, the vehicle engine has not changed where the third generation of GX is equipped with a reliable and efficient twin-turbocharged V6 3.4L engine, combined with automatic transmission of 10 accelerated Direct Shift. This twin-turbo V6 engine produces 349 dk of power, surpassing the previous generation's V8 engine power of only 301 dk, while the torque output also increases to 650 Nm.
