JAKARTA - Ford has re-launched the latest electrification line model, E-Tourneo Courier 2024. The car is a vehicle that looks like an SUV.

This vehicle is the brother of Ford's commercial van E-Transit Courier which was released some time ago. This car has a capacity of five seats with a compact design.

Then in the interior, the dashboard presented at the E-Tourneo has similarities with the E-Transit with several features such as a full digital instrument panel called "Digiboard" and SYNC 4 infotainment controlled with a 12-inch touch screen.

The operating system already uses Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a place to charge the device is available. It is also offered an upgrade feature from over-the-air (OTA).

Reporting from Motor1, Monday, May 15, E-Tourneo is presented with two engines, namely a powertrain powered by electricity and a gasoline engine. For the electric variant, E-Tourier uses the same electric motor as the E-Transit which produces 134 dk on the front. For this variant, users can choose the Normal, Eco, or Slippery modes.

Although the manufacturer has not disclosed the capacity and type of battery used, the E-Tourier can be charged with 11 kW AC and 100 kW DC.

AC charging takes about five hours from 10 to 100 percent. DC charging is less than 35 minutes from 10 to 80 percent.

Ford has not yet announced the variant of the gasoline engine. However, the gasoline-engine E-Tourier can already be ordered this summer and will be delivered before the end of 2023.

Meanwhile, the electricity variant will enter its production period in the second half of 2023 and will be delivered at the end of 2024.

These two variants will be created at the Ford plant located in Craiova, Romania, the same factory as the upcoming electric-powered Puma. E-Tourneo Courier is one of the 10 Ford electrification models to be offered in 2024.
