JAKARTA - After previously releasing a teaser, Italian car manufacturer Lancia revealed that the Pu+Ra HPE concept car with a car design was inspired by the legendary model, Lancia Stratos.

Stratos' design on the Pu+Ra concept is dominant, especially on the back of the car from the round rear light design and is pinned with the words "Lancia" between the two sides of the lights.

Reporting from Motor1, Saturday, April 14, Pu+Ra HPE has a futuristic design and carries the Progressive Green color taken from the Lancia Flaminia Azzurro Vincennes model.

Emblem Lancia is not only pinned to the back, but also to the front. The uniqueness of this concept car is having a circular roof.

Lancia CEO Luca Napolitano revealed that the Pu+Ra HPE concept car is one of the many programs run by Lancia in the transition to electric vehicles which will last for the next 10 years.

"Today, Lancia presented Lancia Pu+Ra HPE, a brand vision for the next 10 years by delivering the brand to the era of electric mobility and summarizing the way we understand the car. Starting with the new Ypsilon, our future car will be inspired by Lancia Pu+Ra HPE," Napolitano said in his official statement.

Lancia did not want to provide details regarding the specifications from Pu+Ra HPE, but the manufacturer hopes that the car can offer a distance of 700 km.

Reportedly also this decade, Lancia will launch a premium sedan or hatchback under the legendary name Delta, which likely uses Stellantis' EV STLA platform.

As previously said, Lancia will release the next generation Ypsilon model as the first model of this decade to carry electric vehicles towards the end of 2023.

Judging from the form of the concept, Pu+Ra HPE is not an ordinary sedan or coupe. Rather, the matchback or coup-SUV is on the rise, and the car will be released in a few years.
