Tesla Offers Cheapest Version Y Model

JAKARTA - The largest electric car manufacturer, Tesla added the Model Y variant to its list of cars on its website. After providing Model Y Long Range and Model Y Performance, Tesla launched a new variant called "Model Y".

Model Y is basically the "Standard" version. The car follows the Tesla Model 3, which also has an entry-level version with a simpler name, as quoted from InsideEV, Monday, April 10, 2023.

However, the difference between Model Y and Model 3, Model Y has a powertrain dual-motor driving all wheels (AWD). Tesla claims this car can cover a distance of 449 km which is calculated from EPA.

Model Y can accelerate from 0-100 km/hour within 5 seconds and can travel at the highest speed of up to 217 km/hour.

Tesla launched the cheapest price for Model Y, which costs 49,990 US dollars or around Rp. 743 million for white paint cars and black synthetic skin interiors.

This price is certainly much cheaper when compared to the Model Y Long Range which costs 52,990 US dollars (around Rp791 million) and the Model Y Performance which is sold from 56,990 US dollars (around Rp851 million).

Customers can also buy an Autopilot system to upgrade features in their cars at an additional cost of 6,000 US dollars (IDR 89.3 million) and if you want to add a driving feature, you can fully increase the cost of 15,000 US dollars (IDR 223.4 million).
