Lancia Releases Latest EV Image, Similar To Stratos

JAKARTA - Some time ago, Lancia revealed the transition from conventional fuel to EV world. Recently, this Italian car manufacturer released their latest EV car teaser.

Reporting from Lancia's official website, Wednesday, March 15, this new Lancia EV car was inspired by one of their legendary models, Stratos. The manufacturer revealed this at the "Emozione Pu-Ra" or "Emotion Pure and Radical" event, as well as plans for Lancia in the next 10 years.

Lancia CEO Luca Napolitano said the EV car had an oval LED rear light that reminded the Pu+Ra Zero statue shown in November 2022. Emblem "Lancia" was also seen widening in the back.

In the future, Lancia will launch the three newest cars in 2028 in a bid to switch to electric cars targeting the premium market in Europe as well as reviewing designs based on the concept of the statue "Pu+Ra Zero".

Another model whose design is based on the concept of "Pu+Ra Zero" is Ypsilon. The electric hatchback will be released in 2024, offering Lancia's first electric powertrain and model in 30 years of model history.

The concept is also reviewed for Lancia Delta's successor. The manufacturer has not named the model. It marks a "new era" for Lancia and shows how the brand looks for the next 100 years.

In an interview with Autosport, Jum'at, March 17, Napolitano said that Lancia will also focus on small, compact, and superior models that will certainly be in line with the traditions that make Lancia known around the world.

He said that now is the beginning of the rise of Lancia and will make Lancia a respected, desirable, and reliable brand for the European premium market.

"Today is the beginning of our (Lancia) revival which will amaze Lancia fans around the world. Lancia will once again become the desired, respected, and reliable brand in the European premium market. Today is the beginning for Lancia," concluded Napolitano.
