Toyota BZ3 Electric Car, Just Launched Directly Given High Price Cuts

JAKARTA - The electric car market in China is indeed excited, it can be seen from the large number of electric car manufacturers that first released their superior products in this bamboo curtain country. In fact, in January 2023, the Statista portal projects the revenue of the electric vehicle market in China to reach USD190.40 billion for 2023.

Well, one of the major manufacturers to release his car in China is Toyota. After previously launching bZ4X, Toyota released its newest model, bZ3, for consumers there. In fact, according to a report from Carnewschina, Tuesday, March 7, the electric sedan received a fairly lucrative discount. The discount offered for the car is at 2,800 US dollars or if converted into Rp43 million.

Then what is this latest model like for Toyota bZ3? This model was developed directly by BYD Toyota EV Technology, where this is Toyota and BYD's first collaboration.

Toyota offers the option of two electric motors on bZ3, namely 135 kW or 185 dk and 185 kW or 248 dk. It is known that the bZ3 is also implanted with a battery measuring between 49.92 kWh and 65.28 kWh.

With the embedding of the e-TNGA platform in the electric sedan, bZ3 has a CLTC distance (standard distance in China) which is claimed to reach 600 km.

Even so, there are many cases that CLTC calculations are less accurate. So, the possibility that bZ3 can travel with a distance of about 321 km to 400 km which of course is still quite a distance.

For the price offered, Toyota priced bZ3 in China with 189,900 RMB or if converted into around Rp420 million and the highest variant was 219,800 RMB or around Rp486 million.
