JAKARTA - The Adolescence series is one of the titles being discussed. This series immediately became number one on Netflix since its release on March 13.

Adolescents with their premises made this series immediately attract attention. Owen Cooper, who is the main character, received appreciation for his outstanding acting in this series.

With four episodes, this series is able to talk about the reality of children in today's era who are close to a harsh life.

The following is a synopsis of the Adolescence series:

Adolescence takes over the city of English, telling the story of a family whose world was rocked when their son, Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper), a 13-year-old man was arrested by police for allegedly killing his friend, Katie Leonard.

Jamie was detained at the police for an initial examination and then transferred to a teenager facility to be found with child psychology.

Jamie stated he was not involved in the murder. Jamie, who began to be interviewed, began to open up that he had made explicit comments about the models on social media.

The father, Eddie (Stephen Graham) confirmed that his son had not hidden anything. However, the police found a CCTV video showing Jamie stabbing Katie to death in the car park.

Eddie and Jamie started looking after each other. Eddie tries to believe in his son that the only boy is not a killer.

Luke Basecombe (Ashley Walters) and Mosha Frank (Faye Marsay) began an investigation into Jamie and Katie's schools. They tried to find evidence without the students at the school knowing, but the situation was not easy.

Their search then grew various facts that this case was related to bullying on social media.

The Adolescence series was created by Stephen Graham as a form of unrest after the many crime cases with knives that now involve perpetrators and victims who are still called teenagers. He teamed up with writer Jack Thorne.

Owen Cooper as the main character is a young actor who has no acting experience. He competed with 500 other children. This series is also a concern because many scenes are taken using one shot.
