JYP Entertainment USA released an official statement after members of the VCHA group, KG announced their exit from the group and sued their former agency. In his demands, KG revealed that he had a food problem that caused him to plan to end his life.

Monday, December 9, JYP USA released a statement regarding KG or Kiera Grace Madder and his statement on social media.

In May this year, KG left the group's residence and started discussions with representatives of his attorneys. "In response, we decided on VCHA activities and discussed finding solutions," said JYP Entertainment USA.

"However, we did not receive a response from the KG representative, leaving our legal side full of questions. We regret KG's decision to sue and make public statements containing false and excessive claims," he explained.

The agency considers KG's statements to have an impact on other VCHA and JYP members. They ended the statement by ensuring that VCHA or JYP did not suffer more losses with this case.

"This action causes losses to VCHA and JYP USA members who work hard for their latest albums and projects in early 2025," he said.

VCHA is a group formed by JYP Entertainment with Republic Records in 2023. Last week, KG announced it was out in conjunction with a lawsuit against his agency.

Yesterday, I filed a lawsuit because I wanted to terminate my contract with JYP Entertainment and leave VCHA after experiencing unfair actions from staff. I feel it's not a good environment for mental health and I apologize for disappointing you guys," wrote KG.

KG said he suffered more losses such as debts to companies, lower payments, prohibited from eating. The lawsuit also revealed that one member who suffered from food disorders swallowed 42 pills.

On the other hand, VCHA, which was scheduled to appear at Lollapalooza 2023, canceled their appearance.
