Korean Drama Itaewon Class Ends Broadcast With High Ratings

JAKARTA - The Korean drama Itaewon Class airs its final episode on Saturday, March 21. Park Saeroyi's (Park Seo Joon) struggle brought Danbam's name to find its ending. Yi Seo (Kim Dami) also finally released after being kidnapped by Park Geun Won (Ahn Bohyun).

Danbam, which is under the Itaewon Class company, began to merge with Jangga Company. They decided to work with Jangga because after all Jangga's company was such a good company.

"The most important things in business are people and beliefs." said Saeroyi while attending the inauguration of the collaboration.

Oh Soo Ah (Kwon Nara) also opened a new restaurant. He also conducts an interview to recruit a chef and meets Park Bo Gum with a new haircut. Bo Gum plays an aspiring chef and he cooks for Soo Ah's restaurant.

Apparently, Park Bo Gum's appearance in this last episode immediately made his name enter the South Korean search engine. Not a few viewers asked for Itaewon Class season two with Kwon Nara and Park Bo Gum. This happened because the expressions of the two were cute even though they were shown briefly.

Saeroyi and Yiseo's relationship also ended sweetly with those who still controlled Danbam together. This story was greeted with high ratings of 16.6 percent and 18.3 in the Seoul area alone.

With this achievement, Itaewon Class became the second highest rated drama after SKY Castle. As is well known, SKY Castle holds the highest rating for all drama broadcasts on cable television channels, not only jTBC.

Not only the drama, the Itaewon Class soundtrack also received positive appreciation with all of its songs entering the South Korean song rankings, one of which is Melon. Currently, singer Gaho's song Start is still at number one.

In addition, there are Someday, the Boy from soloist Kim Feel in third place, Stone Block from Ha Hyun Woo in fifth, and Sweet Night from V BTS in 27.
