Pierre Gruno Allegedly Committed Persecution In A State Of Drunkness

JAKARTA - Pierre Gruno underwent an examination at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday, July 13, on suspicion of abuse by him in a bar in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta. The examination resulted in the determination of the suspect against the 64-year-old actor.

Regarding the incident of the persecution, Charlesmen as Pierre Gruno's attorney said what happened started with a misunderstanding between his client and the victim with the initials GDB.

"Actually, the incident, which is like our client's statement, was a misunderstanding. And maybe our client is just a friendly person, for details we don't know yet," Charles happened when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, July 13.

Meanwhile, Richard Leonard as Pierre Gruno's other attorney, on the same occasion said there was a possible influence of alcohol over the misunderstanding that occurred.

"Yes, logically, if you go to a cafe like that at night, the consumption is not water, right. It's not a coffee shop either, and it's a cafe that sells drinks like that (drinks)," said Richard Leonard.

The attorney's belief grew stronger because he felt Pierre Gruno was not angry. Therefore, he felt that there was an influence of alcohol that caused a dispute.

"Because I know my client is not the angry type, not the bringingas. Yes, maybe as it is said, there may also be the effect of drinking alcohol like that," said Richard.

For information, Pierre Gruno was named a suspect after previously undergoing examination by South Jakarta Metro Police investigators for about 5 hours.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Irwandhy, said that Pierre Gruno was named a suspect and charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code.

"Today, the reported brother of PSH alias PG, we have named him a suspect in the alleged article 351 of the Criminal Code, and examined the person concerned as a suspect," said Irwandhy via text message to the media crew.
