JAKARTA - Taylor Swift will release a re-recording of the album Speak Now (Taylor's Version) which she released in 2010 under the Big Machine label. Now she is recording all the tracks on the album, including Dear John.

Last week, Swift surprised fans by singing Dear John for the first time after 11 years. The lyrics filled with pain after ending his relationship with singer John Mayer when he was 19 years old.

It seems that Taylor Swift knows that this song will be a conversation when it is re-released. Because of that, the 33-year-old singer reminded fans not to spread the hate messages he delivered in the middle of the concert.

"I hope to ask you guys considering this album will be released, I want goodness in our internet activities," Swift said.

"I didn't take out this album so you can defend me on the internet against someone I thought I might have written a song about 14 million years ago," he said again.

He felt fans didn't have to defend him from anyone they thought was the subject of his songs.

"I'm 33 years old. I don't care what happens to me when I'm 19 years old except for the songs I wrote," he continued.

Taylor Swift and John Mayer dated at the end of 2009 when Swift was 19 years old and Mayer 32 years old. Swift's request was made after she released Red (Taylor's Version) where one of her tracks, All Too Well (10 Minute Version) contains her relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

Fans who started to search made the actor close the comments column of his Instagram account.

Taylor Swift will release her re-recorded album, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) on 7 July.
