Proposes Complaining SM Entertainment, Chen Baekhyun Xiumin Denies Betraying EXO

JAKARTA - Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin EXO released a new statement after SM Entertainment responded to their report. Previously, their agency explained that they were willing to show a data completion report.

SM Entertainment said that a copy of the report could be given on condition that this report was not shown to a third party. In addition, the complaint submission submitted by the three EXO members was considered unofficial.

The lawyers representing Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin responded to SM Entertainment's reply regarding their report. Instead, they admitted that they had not received the data report mentioned by the agency.

"Contra with SM's press release, lawyers and artists (CBX) have not received a settlement report," lawyer Lee Jae Hak law firm LIN quoted StarNews as saying.

After the statement was released, SM explained that the data report had not been prepared according to their claims. Meanwhile, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin denied betrayed EXO and fans over reports of contract termination.

"To EXO fans who are having a day with concerns with unpleasant news. Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen will explain the process," said the representative.

"We asked for coordination eight times, but it was an embarrassing process even using the word 'adjustment' and it's a contract extension that doesn't reflect the demand. We did it on the basis of protecting EXO," they continued.

They refuse to forget EXO members and their struggles. All of this was done because they fought for their rights as artists.

"If it's called we take advantage of memories, love, youth, business, and passion that members and fans share for 11 years, we have to explain," they said.

"We hope it's fair more than anyone else, but because it's not fulfilled, we hope at least it's corrected If the "SM community" forces artists to forgive their injustices, We think we should make at least a bit of a fuss about coercion. We respect EXO members more than anything else," he continued.

We have spent half of our lives together with the members. We will never betray such members, and we will prioritize EXO in any situation," he stressed.

Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin EXO submitted to terminate their contracts from SM Entertainment on June 1.
