Allow Children To Become Artists, Asmirandah Still Wants To Prioritize Education

JAKARTA - Asmirandah Zantman admits that he has not banned his only child, Chloe Emanuelle Van Wattimena from following in his footsteps and her husband, Jonas Rivanno, as an artist. However, the 33-year-old artist also did not force the child to work the same as him and Jonas.

"Actually, I didn't introduce you, but I and my father have never banned Chloe or forced Chloe to go down as well as us," said Asmirandah in Kemang, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, May 10.

Asmirandah said that he wanted his son to focus first on education before deciding what career he would pursue. He considers education to be the most important thing for Chloe.

"What is certain is that it is important, Chloe goes to school first. That's number one," said Asmirandah.

After cleaning up his education, then Asmirandah let the child reach his goals. He also admitted that this had been done before entering the entertainment world as an actress.

"Because I also finished school first, right, then I actually jumped into the entertainment world," he said.

Regarding parenting, Asmirandah admits that she has her own way. He wanted to raise his baby casually and decisively.

Asmirandah also admitted that she was still looking for the best way to take care of her child. He doesn't want to force a method that might not be suitable for Chloe.

"The parenting pattern is relaxed and firm. So, I can't say I followed the way A or B, but I used my way of suitable at Chloe," said Asmirandah.

"So, maybe now social media, we continue to look on the internet, there are already many parenting styles like this, like that. Yes, I take what I think makes sense and is roughly suitable for Chloe, and also roughly suitable for me, I follow," he concluded.
