Present At The AG Verdict Session, Virgoun Kagum With The Patience Of David Ozora's Father

JAKARTA - Singer Virgoun was present at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) to witness the trial of AG's verdict, the defendant of the persecution of David Ozora on Monday, April 10.

The presence of vocalist from the band Last Child as a form of his support for David as a victim. Coming as a member of the motorcycle club, Virgoun also expressed his support for the victim's family, who according to him was seeking justice for what had happened.

"Today I was present carrying the flag of one of the club motorbikes founded by Maluku children in the Netherlands. Because it happened that David's family was also from Maluku, as children of Maluku, we were also here to provide support to the family," said Virgoun when met by media crews at the South Jakarta District Court.

As a father, Virgoun also expressed his sympathy and admiration for Jonathan Latumahina. According to him, the man who is the administrator at GP Ansor has a way of dealing with problems that he cannot necessarily follow.

"For my family, I am one of the people who is amazed by David's father. Because he is not only Maluku's son and is active in several Maluku children's communities, he is also a person who is trusted directly by the Minister of Religion now," said the 36-year-old singer.

"To have a mandate like that with his case, with a cold heart, a cold head wants to follow the applicable law. That's in my opinion one of the things that people who are very tolerant. I also can't imagine if I put it in his shoes, I'm strong or I don't see my family getting treatment like this case, "he said.

Regarding the verdict against AG, Virgoun stated entirely about the ongoing legal process. He only hoped that David's family could accept the decision.

"Whatever the result, we try to hopefully the family and we who support will still accept whatever the result is," he said.

For information, judge Sri Wahyuni Batubara sentenced the defendant AG, or Mario Dandy's girlfriend with 3 years and 6 months in prison at the Special Child Development Institution (LPKA).
