Filming Joker 2 Completed, Todd Philips Releases New Photos Of Lady Gaga And Joaquin Phoenix

JAKARTA - Director Todd Philips announced that the production of the Joker: Folie demoux film is over. This is marked by the two latest photos of Joker sequel stars, Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga.

In the photo uploaded today, Thursday, April 6, Gaga and Phoenix are seen in the characters with full makeup. Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn looks looking at one point with her sluggish expression.

While Joaquin Phoenix was seen leaning and staring at the nano. The two looked gloomy and Philips did not explain the scene.

"Finish. Thank you to these two stars (+ all players) and the BEST crew present in the film industry. From top to bottom. Will crawl into the cave (edit room) and work on it," wrote Todd Philips in the photo caption.

Todd Philips has consistently uploaded several photos from the production of Joker 2. Starting from the portrait of Arthur Fleck who is being shaved by one of the law enforcement officers.

Then he also shared a photo of Lady Gaga with Joaquin Phoenix in one scene. Their latest shooting in New York is also in the spotlight for showing a scene of Gaga with the Joker.

Launching Deadline, Gaga filmed in the Manhattan area and was surrounded by police. One scene of the crowd shows the extras carrying a banner that reads, 'Free Joker.'

Gaga is also wearing a Harley Quinn costume that is different from the other version. He is seen wearing a red suit in a black and white suit. In addition, he combines a black leather skirt combined with a similar color.

Todd Philips is still directing the sequel and starring Phoenix, Gaga, and Zazie Beetz as Sophie Dumond. Meanwhile Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener also joined but their roles were kept secret.

The Joker Sequel is planned to hit theaters in October 2024.
