Rizky Billar Denies Being Involved In Alleged Money Laundering Rafael Alun

Rizky Billar is one of the names questioned by the public for the involvement of the artist with the initials R in the alleged money laundering case of former Directorate General of Taxes, Rafael Alun Trisambodo who was declared the Founder Secretary of Indonesian Audit Watch (IAW), Iskandar Sitorus.

Through her attorney, Lesti Kejora's husband denied that she was the figure behind the artist with the initials R.

"On this occasion, I state firmly that Rizky Billar's brother has nothing to do with this issue," said Sadrakh Seskoadi, Rizky Billar's attorney when met in Kembangan, West Jakarta, Tuesday, April 4.

"We as attorneys ask our media friends that the news that mentions our client Rizky Billar's involvement in the crime is not true," he continued.

Sadrakh regretted the statement made by IAW. He saw that the statement made to the public had caused a commotion.

"The statement mentioned by IAW is quite causing a commotion in a few days. Because from our point of view, what IAW said is not correct," he said.

However, Sadrakh said that Billar had not suffered any losses so far. If his client accepts the flow of money, said Sadrakh, it must be proven whether it is true that Billar knew the origin of the money.

"Regarding the loss, I don't think so, because this is a clarification, and IAW itself did not specify who was involved," said Sadrakh.

"Because of this involvement, it also needs to be investigated. If someone is suspected of receiving a flow of funds, the person who receives the money does he know the money is from the proceeds of a crime, whoever it is, not just a public figure," he continued.

Even so, Sadrakh stated that his client had no intention of prosecuting IAW in this matter.

"From Mas Rizky feels that he is not harmed that his name is being linked. This is just an allegation, and this allegation must be denied from the start so that the news that develops does not widen and expands related to Rizky Billar's involvement in this scandal," concluded Sadrakh Seskoadi.
