JAKARTA - Vino G Bastian has starred in dozens of feature films, even many of which have achieved great success on the market. Most recently, he played Buya Hamka in Buya Hamka's biopic which will air next month.

On National Film Day, Marsha Timothy's husband saw that the film produced by the nation's children is now getting better. He also welcomed the situation where domestic films began to host in his own country.

"Indonesian films can not be inferior to film production outside. From this national film we can be proud, not only Buya Hamka films but also other films. This shows that Indonesian films are already very strong, they have been very victorious in their own country," said Vino G Bastian when met at the Tanah Kusir TPU, South Jakarta on Thursday, March 30.

As the National Film Day this time saw by the actor to coincide with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, he hopes that the Indonesian film industry can find its peak.

"Indeed, if it's like this, it's very fast at the same time as the day of victory, Eid al-Fitr," said Vino.

Reflecting on the film he starred in, Buya Hamka, the 41-year-old actor also gave an example of how Indonesian film industry players have given everything they can to make the best works that can be proud of.

"And also at this time National Film Day, we also shared several behind the scenes on how we really have an extraordinary effort to build ships, it's just not only about this film, but also to prove to the world that Indonesia can make extraordinary films like this," explained Vino.

Finally, Vino hopes that public interest can increase over time. Not only for the film, but also for all Indonesian films.

"Hopefully, when Eid, people flock to visit to enjoy films from various genres, one of which is the film Buya Hamka," concluded Vino G Bastian.
