Marshel Widianto Reveals Reasons For Not Celebrating His Marriage With Cesen Ex JKT48

The news of Marshel Widianto's marriage to Yansen Indiani or Cesen, former JKT48, confused the public.

Moreover, both of them have just been blessed with a child named Archie Hermawan Farid Gilandy Widianto.

Marshel said that he did not deliberately report his marriage to the public.

He feels that marriage and household matters are privacy that many people don't have to know.

"I want to feel privacy because what I did as long as I had a career at the stand-up, I entertained other people, if for example my domain of privacy was given to the public, I was afraid that if there was a fight or so, I was afraid that it could not be prepared properly," said Marshel Widianto in a FYP broadcast on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

From his experience and observations, the 26-year-old comic did not want what happened in his marriage life to Cesen to actually make the public disappointed with him.

Regarding the decision not to hold a festive party to celebrate his wedding, Marshel has his own reasons. He admitted that at that time he did not have enough funds to create a wedding party.

"It was quiet because when I was hanging about who wanted to be invited, I wanted to be like another big friend (the event), the money wasn't there at that time, the budget wasn't there," he said.

Although he had kept his marriage a secret in public, Marshel said that the closest people and several artists, such as Raffi Ahmad, knew he had married Cesen.

The comedian also thanked Nagita Slavina's husband, who was still keeping his secret until he opened it himself.

"I'm really grateful to have a circle that really, really maintains privacy. Aa Raffi Ahmad, who even though he's like that, leaks everything he can still maintain," concluded Marshel Widianto.
