Prayers Welcoming Ramadan, Containing Messages About Priority And Blessings

Here are some prayers that are read in welcoming the month of Ramadan.

The second prayer, narrated Sayyidina Ubadah bin al Shamith (34 H). In this hadith, Rasulullah SAW teaches the prayers that are read during Ramadan. Here's the history:

Meaning: From Ubadah bin al-Shamith rahhillahu anhu, he said: Rasulullah salallahu alaihi wasalllam taught us the following reading to be read by one of us when Ramadan came: "Allahumma salimni min Ramadl wa sallim Ramadhana li wa tasallamhu minni mutaqaqbalan

(O Allah, convey me (towards the month) Ramadan. Convey Ramadan to me, and obey me (my malls) (on the month) Ramadan.

Prayers ahead of Ramadan above, it is known that they have survived the month of Ramadan and ask Allah SWT so that all deeds and worship are accepted.

The third prayer came from Imam Abdul 'Aziz bin Abi Rawad (w. 159 H). He is a hadith expert, worshipist, and imam of the al-Haram Mosque. Imam Abdullah bin Mubarak sees him as a badinnas (the most extraordinary person to worship among humans). In addition, he is also a direct student of Sayyidina Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar (w. 106 H) and Imam Nafi (w. 117 H). The following is a history of prayer welcoming Ramadan:

Meaning: From Abdul Aziz bin Abi Rawad, he said: (You) Muslimin pray when the month of Ramadan is present: Allahumma adhalla syahru Ramadhana wa hadlara, fa sallimhu li wa sallimni fihi wa tasallamhu minni. Allahummarzuqni shiyamahu wa qiyamahu shabran Wahtisaban, warzuqni fihil jadda wal ijtihada wal quwwata wan nayatha, wa aidzni fihi minassamati wal fatrati wal kasali wan asi, wawaffiqni f li lailatil qadri alha khair min alfi syahrin.

(O Allah, the month of Ramadan has overshadowed and came. So, convey (the month) Ramadan to me, and convey me (with safety) to it, and my deeds) (in the month) Ramadan. O Allah, grant me patience and (sincere intention) hope (pahala and ridha-Mu) for fasting (Ramadhanku) and (qiyamul lailku). (O Allah), give me a gift in (monthly) Ramadan sincerity, perseverance, strength, and vitality. (O Allah), my linduling in (month) Ramadan from boredom, weakness, laziness, and weakness or (many sleep). (O God), make me successful in (geting) lailatul qaddar in (month) Ramadan (this), and make it (pahala or it good) (more) either from a thousand months.

Through prayer to welcome Ramadan above, we ask for health, boredom, and protection during the practice and worship of the month of Ramadan. Not only in the beginning of fasting, but also with the above prayer asking for success in getting lailatul qodar on the 21st night and getting a reward of better than a thousand months.
