JAKARTA - Shazam film! Fury of the Gods is still telling stories about Billy Batson and his brothers who are trying to save the city with their respective superpowers.

Previously, the film Shazam! was first released in 2019. In his first film, DC tried to introduce the audience to the antagonistpantungistungdeus Sivana who argued with his father and older brother on a trip.

However, suddenly, his car was moving fast and Sivana also found himself in a very dark cave. The cave turned out to be the Rock of Eternity where Sivana met a witch named Shazam.

The witch was also told to be burdened with seven deadly sins and had to find a replacement before she died. However, Sivana was tempted to take a crystal ball containing Seven Deadly Sins which eventually left her unelected as a substitute for the witch and returned to her sad life.

Then, after several years had passed, a teenager named Billy Batson (Asher Angel) tried to escape from his adopted family to find his biological mother. He did everything he could to get involved in minor offenses. Finally, Billy also had to live with Victor and Rosa who also housed several other adopted children.

At the house, Billy meets Freddy who is also Victor and Rose's adopted son. One day, he helps Freddy who is being bullied by his schoolmate. They then ran towards the train that suddenly took Billy to the Rock of Eternity. There, he also met the witch.

Different from Sivana who was tempted by a crystal ball containing Seven Deadly Sins, Billy is considered a pure soul that deserves super powers from the witch. From there Billy's adventures as a superhero began. Not only alone, Billy's first film also changed his other five siblings to say Shazam's spell! so that they can gain the same power as him.

In the film Shazam! Fury of the Gods, this time Billy and his other lifting brothers also have to face the trio of ancient goddesses. The three goddesses arrived on earth to look for magic stolen from them for a long time.

Quoted from ANTARA, Shazam and his allies were pushed into battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of the world. But unfortunately, the six brothers, Billy, Mary, Freedy, Eugene, and Pedro, are no longer compact. They started to have their own busy lives.

Not only that, Billy is described as starting to get frustrated with his situation. Stepping on the age of almost 18, Billy seems quite confused with his world. He felt that he didn't deserve to be a superhero. Moreover, he started comparing himself to other DC heroes such as Aquaman, Batman, to Flash.

If the previous film describes Billy trying to accept his new family and mingling with them, now Billy has to try to reunite the cohesiveness between the six of them. Billy also has to restore his confidence as a hero in his city.

So, this time in Shazam! The Fury of the Gods is very illustrated that DC wants to try to show that cohesiveness and love between families can save and encourage each other.

It's not just the very strong family values described in this film. Still the same as the film Shazam! Previously, this time the film also contained many jokes that drew laughter from the audience. So, Shazam! Fury of the Gods will not only invite emotion, tension, but also laughter.
