JAKARTA - Ravi VIXX admitted his actions to avoid military service. This news is the aftermath of the crowded military service broker case in early 2023.

At that time, it was reported that a K-pop idol was one of Mr Gu's broker clients who was indicated to help people receive exceptions from the South Korean military. Gu helps them by falsifying the results of the health test as one of the conditions for conscription to the military.

Gu said it was one of the rapper idols who received relief because of his help. He received level four for his health results, so he was allowed to serve in the public service sector rather than being an active soldier.

Ravi, who departed in October 2022, said he served as a public worker for health reasons that could not be disclosed.

He also left the variety event in May 2022 because he was preparing for military service and only departed in October 2022. This information made netizens suspect Ravi VIXX was the rapper's idol in question.

Ravi's agency GROOVL1N released an official statement saying they were looking for details and information.

"After receiving the report, we are examining the truth about this situation. Because the problem is related to military duties, we think it would be more appropriate to check first and explain afterwards," said GROOVL1N.

"We think it's better to find out official information. In addition, if there is a request for an investigation into this case, (Ravi) will live it at any time," the agency said.

According to Newsis, Ravi admitted that he faked a letter to avoid the military service sector. After seeing the idol who was cooperative in the investigation, judge Kim Ji Sook withdrew the arrest warrant for Ravi, who was previously released on March 2.

"Given the objective evidence collected so far, (the suspect) has admitted the indictment. His residence and career are stable and when considering various factors, such as social ties, it is difficult to say the need to arrest suspects at this stage", he said.

There are at least 100 people who have been investigated by the police. Reportedly, many people who became clients are involved in the world of sports and entertainment.
