Profile Of Nani Wijaya, Concester Works With An Acting Experience Of More Than 50 Years

In recent times, Nani Wijaya has been in an unhealthy condition. Currently, the senior actress is lying in hospital after experiencing shortness of breath on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in the morning.

Nani Wijaya's career journey in the Indonesian entertainment industry has been going on for a very long time. No less than 50 years he has been in acting with dozens of films and television series.

Nani Wijaya was born a few months before Indonesia's independence, on November 10, 1944 in Cirebon. At the age of 16, Nani had made her acting debut with her appearance in the film Blood Tinggi (1960) directed by Lilik Sudjio.

Despite having a pretty good career as a teenage actress at that time, Nani Wijaya still chose to continue her education to college. He is noted to have studied at the University of Indonesia.

Then, in 1969 he married director and writer from Lebak, Banten, Misbach Yusa Biran. Both live happily with the blessings of six children, namely Nina Kartika, Tita Fitrah Soraya, Cahya Kamila, Sukma Ayu, Firdausi and Farry Hanief.

In his heyday, Nani won two Citra Cups in the Best Supporting Actor category through the films Yang Muda Yang Bercinta (1978) and RA Kartini (1983).

Having six children, Nani still continues to explore acting until her old age. One of his most memorable roles for Indonesians was when he starred in the Bajaj Bajuri sitcom from 2002 to 2007.

The character who is quite annoying as the parents of Oneng (Rieke Diah Pitaloka) as well as the father-in-law of Bajuri (Mat Solar), Nina managed to make the character of Mother Eti quite iconic in the eyes of the Indonesian audience.

The film industry itself once gave a special award to Nani Wijaya. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2021 Indonesian Movie Actors Awards and the 2022 Indonesian Drama Series Awards.

In her personal life, Nani Wijaya married twice. Her first marriage to Misbach Yusa Biran was separated by death when her husband died in 2012.

In 2017, Nani was again edited by writer Ajip Rosidi. Their marriage was separated by death when Ajip died in 2020.
