Diversity, Nicole Parham Becomes Sinden And Fasih Javanese

JAKARTA - Nicole Parham returns to acting through her latest film, Pesugihan: Accompanying with the Devils. This film is the second title played by Nicole after the Devil Bisikan in 2018. He was also met by director Hanny R. Saputra after five years.

"I'm here as Karin, her sister Resika (played by Isel Freicella) and her son Hendri (Gary Iskak) and Marini (Nirina Zubir). This is a 5-year film, so I forgot to remember but yesterday I watched it again," said Nicole Parham during a visit to the VOI office on Thursday, February 16, 2023.

The actress who was born on March 13 underwent a number of challenges through the film Pesugihan. Two of them are she studied sinden and in Javanese. As a German mulatto, this is one of the things she has just met in filming.

He is determined to learn and master his role by studying with the director. He also mentioned that there were teachers who were preparing to help him.

"This is the first time I've filmed a scene where I'm careless and continues to sininden, in Javanese. Previously, in real life, I really couldn't speak Javanese, I never experienced it directly to myself, so it was quite difficult to do anything," he said.

The training was also helped by the director, Mr. Hanny (R Saputra) also helped me how to use the correct Javanese language and the way to turn things around. Then there is also a coach to speak Javanese. I like to search while practicing speech so that it runs smoothly," explained Nicole.

"During filming I found out, what would be the risk of people's videos if there was a break. So I can also show it," he continued.

The reason is that apart from challenges, Nicole is also waiting for this film to be shown in theaters after being postponed due to the pandemic.
