After Marijuana, Yoo Ah In Positive Use Propofol

JAKARTA - Yoo Ah In tested positive for Propofol. This was confirmed after previously he was called positive for marijuana.

Today, Friday, February 24, the police officially announced the National Forensic Service to send Yoo Ah In haircut to the drug investigation unit at the Seoul Metropolitan police.

Previously, the police investigated Yoo Ah In on suspicion of illegally using Propofol. After that they started conducting examinations by checking doctors and clinics in Seoul who were suspected of illegally giving propofol to Yoo Ah In since 2021.

Launching DailyAn, Yoo Ah In conducted a urine and hair test on February 5. Urine tests showed that he had tested positive for marijuana which was considered illegal in South Korea.

The police will again summon Yoo Ah In as a suspect to investigate how the actor got the propofol.

UAA as Yoo Ah In's agency said, "We are actively cooperating with investigations. We plan to explain all the issues that are being questioned."

Yoo Ah In was questioned by police in early February where he was said to have received illegal promotions. Propofol is an illegal and drug used in South Korea if not for surgical procedures.

Yoo Ah In is suspected of using Propofol since 2021 and immediately following the investigation process by the police. He is also prohibited from traveling abroad as long as the case is still under investigation.

On the other hand, due to this news, the release of Yoo Ah In's latest film is in danger of being canceled. One of them is The Match which is scheduled to be released this year.
