JAKARTA - After being absent from the divorce suit trial from Ferry Irawan last week, Venna Melinda finally attended the second trial at the South Jakarta Religious Court (PA) today, Thursday, February 23, 2023.

Unlike usual, Venna was not accompanied by Hotman Paris Hutapea, but another lawyer who represented Hotman's presence, Noor Akhmad Riyadhi.

After the trial, Noor Akhmad accompanied Venna Melinda to state that her client had no problem with Ferry's divorce suit, even though her client had intended to file for divorce from the start.

"For Mrs. Venna (Ferry Irawan in charge of divorce), the important thing is that it is finished quickly and divorced," said Noor Akhmad Riyadhi at PA South Jakarta on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

However, Venna took issue with the reasons for Ferry's divorce lawsuit, which seemed suspected of playing a play victim and did not admit the domestic violence, where the case had been processed at the East Java Regional Police and made Ferry now detained.

The lawyer explained that in essence, Venna Melinda had no problem who filed for divorce, but her client wanted to divorce on the grounds that Ferry had committed domestic violence against Venna.

So, the main point is that Venna agrees to divorce, but it must be for the reason that domestic violence, namely the first physical, psychological and continuous disputes, and the inability to provide a living to Venna as a wife. So it's not the reasons for divorce that Ferry put in his current lawsuit," he concluded.

For information, both Ferry Irawan and Venna Melinda filed for divorce from the South Jakarta PA. However, because Ferry's lawsuit came in first, Venna's lawsuit will follow the lawsuit that first entered and was registered.
