Stranger Things Ends, David Harbor: It's The Right Time

JAKARTA - David Harbor is ready to leave Stranger Things. Appearing since the first season of 2016, the actor is confirmed to join the fifth season as the last part.

The funny thing is when I started joining, I never wanted this to end. That's why I love this series," David Harbor said in a recent interview with Discussing Film.

I think it's a good series, even if I'm not here. Now, we've been shooting for almost nine years from the first season and I think this is the right time to finish."

The success of Stranger Things is undeniable to bring good things to his career. However, he felt that all the players developed and became more mature to try out other acting projects.

There is sadness but we are all adults. It's time for us to leave this'sang' and try projects and other things. So that The Duffer Brothers try other things too," explained Lily Allen's husband.

I mean, they are very talented. I want to see what they make next. It feels sweet and bitter but it's time," said Harbour.

The Duffer Brothers as creators of Stranger Things confirmed the fifth season will be the last part of this story. At the end of 2022, they revealed the title of the first episode was Chapter One: The Crawl.

In a separate interview, The Duffer Brothers also stated that they did not add to new characters and focused more on existing characters.

So far, the creators are still in the process of making the script and have not explained when the production of the final season will begin. Stranger Things 5 is also projected to be released in 2024 or 2025.
