The London band revealed the title of their new album in a recent interview and described it as "the second volume of Music Of The Spheres".
Speaking to City News about taking their world tour to Canada, the band is updating about the album.
"We're finishing an album called Moon Music, which is the second volume of Music Of The Spheres," Coldplay frontman Chris Martin explained.
"We may start playing some songs at some point this year," Martin continued.
Coldplay released Music Of The Spheres in 2021 - an album NME describes as "the beauty of my dreams that can evoke extraordinary admiration and emotion."
