Pevita Pearce Antusias Presents Romantic And Full Of Blood Scenes In The Psychological Thriller Series Catarsis

JAKARTA - After starring in dozens of feature films since 2006, Pevita Pearce will premiere in a series entitled Catarsis.

The dark comedy thriller genre, directed by RAldolph Zaini also stars Sigi Wimala, Bront Palarae, Slamet Raharjo, Prisia Nasution and Shareefa Daanish.

Pevita expressed her enthusiasm for the character Tara she played in the Catarsis.

"I've been waiting for this role, because for 17 years I've only been playing on a psychological thriller. I feel this will be sadistic and exciting," he said during a press conference in the Sudirman area, Central Jakarta some time ago.

Speaking of her first series, the actress 30 stated that there would be many romantic scenes and also full of blood. So memorable these scenes, Pevita admitted that the adrgan she played was carried away to her dream.

Getting support from those closest to you, Pevita looks much different through Tara's character.

"Here, I look ( look) new, I change my hair color, until the outfit I also adjust it to Tara's character. There are (friends) who immediately come to the shooting location and see my looks," said Pevita.

Pevita also revealed her experience on set with senior actor Slamet Raharjo.

Even though she had to undergo a painful scene, the actress said she was happy to be able to compete acting with the Citra Cup winner at the 2022 FFI.

"This is the first time I have met Om Slamet and was immediately tortured. When we first practice, I was injected and kicked, that's the scene I remember the most. I'm very happy to play with Om Slamet," he said.

Catarism tells the story of Tara (Pevita Pearce) who is a witness to a sadistic incident.

He had to watch his adopted parents be killed in a tragic way.

Because of this incident, Tara was rushed to the hospital.

He needs a psychologist to help him escape from the trauma of his parents' death.

However, the deeper the psychologist accompanies Tara, the more he sees that there is something hidden with the patient's meeting.

Is Tara just a victim, or is it hiding something else that's darker?

The Catarism Series is one of dozens of Vidio Original Serieses that will premiere in 2023.

This series of dark comedy and thriller genres will present 8 episodes.
