JAKARTA - Singer Astrid will release her new single titled Jadikan Aku Ratu on January 27 to mark her two decades of career journey.

"Twenty years is not a short time. Not all went smoothly. There are so many challenges that have been faced. I am grateful that for these 20 years I have always been supported by the best people who fought with me. Indeed, there was a change of team in my musical career, but they have all succeeded in making me the Queen," Astrid said in her official statement.

Astrid melihat, lagu ini tepat untuk memperwakirkan 20 tahunnya kariernya karena untuk kali pertama Astrid terlibat langsung ke dalam pembuatan lagu maupun kerjakan musiknya.

"The theme is also fun, it looks like the continuation will make me the second, but this time I want to be the only one!" said Astrid who wrote this song with Denny Indrajaya, Arlan Djoewarsa, Ivan Dewanto, and Alfajar Pangestu.

In fact, in various offair activities, Astrid often asks the audience whether after a long time, they are still willing to be the second.

"Of course no one wants to be the second, everyone wants to be the only one. Everyone wants to be the queen," added the singer who is also known for various hits such as Ratu Cahaya (2003) and Terupaya (2013).

Astrid's self-employment as well as her musical character managed to make this song still relevant to younger music listeners. This was confirmed by Denny Indrajaya and Ivan Dewanto as producers. The combination with Astrid's unique vocal character is also believed to give sweet surprises to her loyal listeners.

Along with the launch of this song on January 27, the music video makes Aku Ratu can be enjoyed on Astrid's Youtube channel @AstriDMusic. It feels even more special because the launch coincides with Astrid's birthday.
