JAKARTA - The latest series titled Catarsis will premiere on February 16. Directed by Randolph Zaini, this series stars top actors and talented Indonesian young stars, Pevita Pearce, Prisia Nasution, Slamet Rahardjo, Sigi Wimala, and Bront Palarae.

Lifted from a famous novel with the same title by Anastasia Aemilia, Catarsis was also enlivened by a number of veteran stars in the country, including Shareefa Daanish, Ratu Feleisha, Runny Rudiyanti, Kiki Narendra, and Teuku Rifnu Wikana.

Catarism, which is a Vidio Original Series, adds to the series collection that has so far managed to entertain many viewers, such as Grieved Likes, Drama Ratu Drama, Placement of The Series, and Serigala Terakhir 2.

Carrying a love story wrapped in a tense mystery, Catarsis follows the life of Tara (Pevita Pearce), a young woman who is the only witness to sadistic murder at the home of her parents.

The perpetrator is suspected of being a serial killer who has been hunted for a long time and has disappeared for nearly 20 years. Tara tries to release a sense of trauma in her with the help of Alfons, a psychiatrist who slowly begins to see something hidden as close as she goes from her past.

Not long ago, a man named Ello appeared who fell in love and tried to find out the intricacies of Tara's life, her idol girl.

Amid various unsolved mysteries, there is one big question for them, whether Tara is really a victim or hiding traces of the dark past.
