Actor Weak Hero Class 1, Na Chul Dies

JAKARTA - Sad news came from actor Na Chul. The drama player Weak Hero Class 1 was declared dead today, Saturday, January 21.

This news was shared by the industry on the same day. Launching StarNews, Na Chul died in the middle of treatment due to his deteriorating health condition.

Na Chul's body is buried at Soonchunhyang University, Yongsan, Seoul and the funeral is scheduled for Monday, January 23 at 08.30 South Korean time.

Na Chul is a December 24-born actor who is known for a number of roles through dramas and films he played. The last drama he played was Weak Hero Class 1 with Park Ji Hoon and Choi Jin Wook.

He started his career as a supporting actor through the drama Jeon Woo Chi in 2012. Then he played a number of titles such as The Good Wife, Entourage, Touch Your Heart, Stranger 2, and Vincenzo.

His role as Na Deok Jin in Vincenzo managed to attract attention. Na Deok Jin is the leader of the construction of the Babel building.

His role continues through the drama Hospital Playlist 2, DP, Jirisan, Happiness, Through the counts, Superior Day, Little Women, and Once Upon at a Small Town. Through his last drama Weak Hero Class 1, Na Chul became the group leader and received a positive response because of his role.

Via the big screen, Na Chul plays a role in the film Along with the Gods 1, 1987: When the Day Comes, Extreme Job, Hit and Run Squad, Tunnel in for Love and the film Sinkhole in 2021. In the film Sinkhole, he becomes Min Jun, one of the residents who experiences an earthquake and is trapped with other residents.

Na Chul's departure was accompanied by condolences from celebrities. Actress Kim Go Eun, who collaborated with Na Chul through the drama Little Women and the film Tunnel in for Love, also shared her condolences.

Na Chul passed away at the age of 36.
