Ahead Of The New Album, Joe Trohman Rehat Of Fall Out Boy

Ahead of the release of the new album, unpleasant news came from Fall Out Boy. Joe Trohman decided to take a break from the band that made his name.

This news was shared by Trohman himself via his personal Instagram. He admitted that mental health was the main reason the decision was made. He started his statement by quoting Neil Young's words.

Neil Young once said it's better to feel burned out than fade. But I can say firmly that burn out is something terrible," wrote the 38-year-old guitarist.

"Without giving an explanation, I have to tell my mental health is deteriorating quickly in the last few years. So not to be driving' and never coming back, I will take a break from work that includes staying away from Fall Out Boy," he continued.

Trohman admits he is disappointed to make this decision, especially though Fall Out Boy is preparing his latest album. But he promised fans would return soon with better health conditions.

"It hurts me to make this decision especially because we will be releasing an album that makes me proud," wrote Joe Trohman.

"So the question remains: will I come back? Of course, 100 percent. Meanwhile, I have to recover which means putting my mental health first. Thank you to everyone including my bandmates and family for understanding this difficult but important decision."

Joe Trohman was one of the figures who founded Fall Out Boy with Pete Webz in 2001.

This decision was made the day after Fall Out Boy launched their newest single, Love from the Other Side. This song is the opening of their latest album titled So Much (for) Stardust which will be released on March 24, 2023.
