A Man Called Otto's Review, Melajar Memroses Funeral Of Tom Hanks' Role

JAKARTA - For Otto Anderson (played by Tom Hanks), there is nothing more annoying in the world than those around him who break the rules. He would be angry if a car driver broke through a road portal that was clearly closed or saw someone who couldn't park his vehicle properly.

Time and again he will issue a "stupid!" if he finds someone else acting inappropriately, even trivial things. Wild cats that often hang around his house do not escape the curse.

Neighbors who have lived side by side for years have finally considered the middle-aged man's character as something common, Otto. For Otto, almost all neighbors are annoying, except for Mariana Trevi

Even though Otto was still angry with him, when he asked for help, the woman faced him casually and laughed. In fact, Morisol likes to bring his homemade food to Otto.

Morisol's presence became the key to Otto's next life opener. Through his relationship with Morisol, Otto gradually began to open up about his past and sorrow. Morisol gradually became someone Otto considered like his own son.

Whenever Otto was in a moment of loneliness, the shadows of his late wife, Sonya (played by Rachel Keller), always stopped by in her mind. He memorized very well every detail of memories he had spent with Sonya, the only valuable person in Otto's life.

For Otto, it was the best way not to forget his wife. But, Otto didn't realize it, it was also what kept him from going anywhere and just staying in place. And it was Morisol who helped open the road so Otto could release and process the grief.

Even though these griefs were present, A Man Called Otto was not only about drama. This film is actually able to match grief withSEAs humor. The combination of dramas and comedy keeps changing in every scene in the film, there are even times when the audience is not given a break between the changes suddenly having to laugh, a few seconds later sad.

Tom Hanks' undeniably acting skills make Otto's character more lively. In the film, we no longer see Tom Hanks as Tom Hanks, but see him as Otto.

Despite the controversy because A Man Called Otto is like a family project with the involvement of Hanks' wife, Rita Wilson, who sits in the producer chair and their son,wieldows, whose acting debut as Otto is a young version, the film is still interesting to watch.

Although not the best 100 percent, A Man Called Otto could be a choice of light films that could be enjoyed as a form of escapism and then bring ourselves back to reality by realizing simple things that seem valuable to our lives.

In addition to the prominent roles of Hanks and Trevi halo in the film, viewers will encounter other actors with unique characters that each of them does not only appear as supporting roles'' but also complements that make A Man Called Otto more colorful.

The names are like Manuel Garcia-Rulfo who plays Tommy, men's husband Otto who in Otto's eyes is a "stupid" husband. There is also Cameron Britton as Jimmy, a neighbor with humorous signs who exercise every morning while greeting Otto who is on patrol in the morning. Until Juanita filmed Anita and Peter Lawson Jones as Ruben, both of whom were neighbors and used to be friends with Otto.
