According to Wilson, there are many elements in the story in the film that are in tune with him. Starting from the theme about the search for hope to learning to accept other people's differences. Moreover, these things are explained with a touch of comedy.

"We are all angry sometimes, and we can see it on Otto. How many people have been angry while on the road? It's not far from Otto himself," he added.

"Otto hated the passing of that time. He rebelled against the fact that it was time for him to retire. He didn't appreciate the fact that his wife got older and sick, and then his wife died," Hanks said.

"That's why he's so angry," he added.

He mostly works behind the scenes as a cinematographer. He said that at first he received an offer of acting for the film A Man Called Otto from the director.
